Five Year Anniversary!

So, our trip to Annapolis was absolutely perfect! We had a wonderful time. And, the girls had a great time at home with their grand- parents. We couldn't have gone without their help!
We stayed at the Westin Annapolis & were VERY well taken care of. They gave us complimentary room service on Saturday morning, a late check out on Sunday, and upgraded us to a Jr. Suite! Which, by the way, was amazing. We were like two little kids when we pulled up to the hotel valet parking services in my mom's Chevy S-10 pick up truck.:) The hotel also did a great job of telling us good restaurants to eat at, etc.
Friday evening, we arrived late & headed out to Mike's Crab House for a late crab dinner. My weekend of seafood had begun! Yum. Saturday morning, our actual anniversary, we slept in until about 9:00, laid in bed for about another 45 minutes and then realized, we are old. We couldn't sleep the day away. So, we took advantage of the room service and had a delicious breakfast. Then we went out to the Naval Academy and walked around. Talk about a beautiful campus. We had fun walking around there and through historic Annapolis. Again, for lunch, we had seafood at Sam's Waterside Cafe & dinner at Charter House. By far the best meal of our stay. King Crab Legs for me! And, the best Pina Colada I've ever had! That afternoon, I slipped out for a short shopping trip at the stationary store across the street from our hotel while Matt rested his sprained ankle. I came back just in time to see UNC lose to Maryland! Booooo.
Anyway, it was so great to get away with Matt & spend some time just the two of us. We really enjoyed ourselves and are back now, rejuvinated and renewed as parents & as husband and wife.:) Hope you enjoy the pictures.
I am including some pictures from our honeymoon when we first got married as well as some pictures from our 5 year anniversary trip. Honestly, this was about as good as our honeymoon, just without being in tropical weather and staying in an overwater bungalow.:)
